April Brumfield

April Brumfield is Managing Director and Founder of Brumfield & Associates, an agency that handles the careers and touring of a select group of artists covering chamber, jazz, choral and symphonic music. April has over ten years of experience in artist management, presenting, fundraising and special events .

After having earned a Masters in Arts Administration from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, she went to work fundraising for the Cincinnati Opera. Three seasons later she moved to New York to work with some of the most renown artists in classical music, including Jean-Pierre Rampal, Alfred Brendel, James Morris, Juilliard String Quartet, Tafelmusik and many more.

Now as managing director of her own agency, April is often asked to consult in the areas of artist management, non-profits, and fundraising. She teaches in the Music Merchandising/Marketing Dept. at Eastern Kentucky University and gives private trumpet lessons in her spare time . Email April

Cory Atkinson

Cory Atkinson came to Brumfield & Associates from the William Morris Agency in Nashville, where he helped manage the careers of well-known talent such as the Oak Ridge Boys, Sandi Patti, Kathy Mattea, and others. Prior to the William Morris Agency, Cory was the Director of the Performing Arts Series and Campus Concerts at the University of Montana. Working as a Presenter, Cory developed a series that showcased a diversity of artists, including names like Emmylou Harris, Anonymous 4, BeauSoleil, and Joshua Redman. Coincidentally, Cory graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Business Communications.
